I began my carreer as an Engineering Pattern maker, working in wood, metal and plastics, making single jobbing patterns and coreboxes to multi cavity high production metal tooling. Later I moved to automotive work, making prototype models and parts and production tooling for alloy wheels, Inlet manifolds, cylinder heads, oilpans etc for sand, gravity and low pressure casting. My first introduction to Cad was with AutoCad doing layouts and tooling design, now I have Alibre Design Pro and working in 3D.
