Feed 2 table to the challenge By Tomek F. on 19 Dec 23:25

table to the challenge - the second of my ideas (better - not worse no matter:))
needed is still a tensioner mechanism
and a guard on the chain

four legs with threaded holes and bolts in moving parts connected by a chain - to give simultaneous rotation of all screws
and thereby simultaneously improving in four points
load sharing in four

Very interesting. My gut instinct tells me the gear at each leg needs to have a larger diameter to create proper leverage to lift the table up, especially if it is loaded with 500kg. What locks table Z value position in place? The exposed chain needs to be fixed. Very ingenious and creative. Good luck!

      Greg you are right
as I wrote in the description of the model chain guard is needed (this is not a problem)
same capacity as such is safe - it is the four screws with trapezoidal thread 24 (rectangular), a fairly massive profile-only depending on the material profile, you can think of a nut instead of threading in the profile
perhaps you need some ratchet in the chain (protection against self-displacement)
      thanks for your comments

Nice design. I do not think there is any problem with the ratio. Screws will have high ratio, even with small sprocket. Also I think this will lock very well and not backdrive.

The only issue I see is that chains have low tolerance for sideways movement. This design with the chain laying sideways will need chain support all along the chain. Maybe have a guard that is also a chain guide, some kind of nylon or durable plastic.

The best thing about this design is the stability, 4 corners spread out has to be the most stable.

      Congrats on your win!!!!

Thank Basilis but without exaggeration so rated the jury in which were representatives of the company SOVELLA They have some guidelines and know what is good for them just remember that this type of challenge is not a beauty contest (Miss World)
