This is a (very low budget) machine I designed for an entrepreneurial co-op workterm. I have not yet had time to build it. It has a 3/4hp PMDC motor to drive the spindle, and uses three 430ozin stepper motors for positioning. I purchased the XY table from Grizzly Industrial Inc. I realized when it arrived that my suspicion of it being of very low quality was correct.
