3d printable penholder
I needed a pen holder for my desk so I drew this and printed it out. I used an 3D UP! printer and was able to print it without any support structure required.
I can't seem to upload the solidworks model to this page - so if you want the model, look in my files for the penholder.

It looks nice but it would not hold a pen as the pen would fall through your design and stick out of the side, you just need a small ring on the top so the pen can`t fall through. But nice concept I like it

Hi Marius - I am using one at the moment with pens in it and they don't fall out. Looking at the penholder from the top, it looks just like a cone.

Hi Russell, I scaled it 1.2:1 and just printed it with a fortus250mc, unfortunately it needed a lot of support material and took 23hrs to print but it is really awesome! And the pen's don't fall through at all! Thx for uploading!
