any chance you could convert this format to 2009 solidworks or an IGES/STEP ?
I have 2009 and would love to use it. Very good detail. Thx

Im running SW2010, can you not open 2011 files in 2010 version? what are my options?

unfortunately SW is not backwards compatible. so once files have been saved in SW2011, you will not be able to open them in SW 2010 unless they are exported as a ( step igs etc ) ie. neutral file

Thanks for your replies, i thought that that might be the case and so here comes a favour....any chance anyone can please open it up in their solidwork 2011 version and save it as an earlier format/ neutral file?
Id really really really appreciate it

Well, thanks to everybody for using my file, sorry but i can´t check the file until now, so i have uploaded a step file to be used in another version or software.

Great Model! The file size is a little large. When incorporating into an already large assembly file size starts to make a difference.
