Probably the most famous air to air missile in the NATO armory, the AIM 9 Sidewinder missile has been the primary armament of several generations of fighters. I modeled it to add to my F-18, but may as well share it. It's a pretty cool design. The rear of the missile has four fins that have little wheels that spin as the air goes past. Sort of like a windmill. This causes a gyroscopic effect that helps stabilize the missile in flight. The nose vanes steer the missile into its target.
