Check my new Audi Quattro model!
__________________________________________________
It was an Audi S5 (2008) , it was an Audi TT and it is the time for next Audi model. One of the most beautiful Audi of last few years, and the most "sexy" back in motorization history (as I wrote earlier). Maybe it shouldn't be called a "CAD model", becouse most of the parts were made only for visualization, but I'm really satisfied with the final effect, even if it is only exterior and some surfaces could be better. It is my the best car project so far.
After a week of a very enjoyable work (sounds like a oxymoron :)) I would like to present You an Audi A7.
you can download the HDRi from here : http://hdri4free.com/
it is the one I used in this render, a nice one and free.
Super wicked work once again

Brilliant! Great work!
8 months agoLook forward to rendering a few images with it later!
yesterday was only the case, you're fast Mateusz:)
8 months agoI couldn't sleep tonight :). Thanks for the nice comments.
8 months agonice model, thanks
8 months agoVery nice! Another brilliant model.
8 months agoI like this model. It is nice.
8 months agoThank you. Scott, your GrabCAD Car Collection needs to be updated, there is a lot of new models on GrabCad :). But, as you said, you like this job :).
8 months agoI know, I'm way behind on that. Everytime I go to update it a bunch of new cars are uploaded! ^_^ I'll get on that as soon as I can!
8 months agoMateusz, and you only appearance of cars or buildings do, too - hood, roof, fenders, doors?
8 months agojust wondering - if the paint is so beautiful appearance, and so must the skills of the corps is!
I'm in shock O_O
8 months agomuch better gif animations you can make with Gimp, it is free and you can google it easy.
8 months agoI'm glad GrabCAD supports gif now. I think its about time I changed my avatar.... :)
8 months agoImpressive!

http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/yy1/nightbladegreyswandir/3D%20CAD/daftpunkhelmet_turntable2051.gif
and it is so easy to import .jpg images and export .gif
i can make tutorial if you want it.
first have 60 frames and it look little jumpy, but helmet have 72 frames and go smooth.
8 months agoI have 120 frames, but this site has limitation to 100 frames, so I had remove 20. Probably becouse of this it doesn't look good.
8 months agonow when i am looking at it, i think it would much better if you put model of turntable below car so it look like it is on real turntable...
8 months agoTry using Virtualdub. It seems to work well for me?
8 months agoSuper render
8 months agoMateusz
:)))
awesome model (Y)
8 months agoGreat model and renderings people!
ps:That .gif feature looks awesome on the site!
8 months agoFantastic model, great work!!
8 months agoooh yes :) this one looks very nice... and very fast :)
8 months ago@ ALI
Quite amazed! Well done!! Is it catia?
8 months agoIt is a lot of work you've put in this, but I must say, there are some noticeable bumps on the body, especially on the fenders. I know it is very difficult to make right all the surfaces. Don't worry. You can barely notice them in the renderings. By the way, your renderings are getting better and better :)
8 months agoI usually use Generative shape design.
All the best and keep on good work!
I'm not worried Stelu, what is more, thank you for constructive criticism. I'm still learning and my cars projects gets better, but as you said, it isn't perfect. I think that front bumper (area below the front lights, or where it connect with a side panel) also area above front wheel is quite an irregularity, windshield could has a better curvature (where it connect with an A-pillar), and a few more could be better, but almost all of main surfaces has a tangent continuity (except some fillets). Rear bumper is quite correct in my opinion. Remember that it is only a "side effect" of my learning :). Once again, thank you for the comment!
8 months agoVery nice Mateusz!
8 months agoVery good render
incredible, Mateusz! Your place is the design studio somewhere in Italy or in California!
8 months agoI don't think so dassault.
8 months agoSensational stuff Mateusz, I actually think your rendering looks more realistic than the professional one. Also I am in love with the first green one. That particular hue really appeals to me.
8 months agothank
8 months agoWoooow
Now that is right up there with the top ten best renders I have seen on GrabCAD Benjamin
My mouth is still open gazing @ your render
100% pure wicked
:)))))

8 months agoThank you so much Benjamin, if this is only a quick render I can't wait to see your next :)
8 months ago@Williqm : thanks man, it's a quick render as I said... If I have more time I'll see what I could do :) for the frame, I 've modelled it on ProE, that's a bonus CAD file I'll share with the render tutorial I'm working on (part 2 : composition) ! ;)
@Mateusz : you're welcome my friend ! I'll see what I could do to add a better one. Your renders and Ali's ones are so awesome, it's hard to be the contender ;)
8 months agoThank you Benjamin been waiting for this part 2 tutorial from your self for a little while now :))) and even more so now :)))
LoL'ss @ me getting so exited over a tutorial.

Great work Benjamin, the mark of the professional is using their own created studio ...
8 months agoThanks you W. I really appreciate :)
8 months ago@Benjamin- Killer render.... That lighting looks fantastic!
8 months agoYou're welcome Benjamin ...
8 months agoMateusz, I think your renders are quite good ... How long have you been using KeyShot?
8 months agono longer than 2 months, earlier I was working in PhotoView 360 (for ~6 months). I think that more interesting is the fact that I make surface models only for 1 year.
8 months agoyou are an artist Mateusz!!
8 months agoGreat render with a great model!!!
8 months agoVery dynamic and the light from the cage is just ... perfection... that's the good word to describe your render!!!
Amazing work for that period of time. I'm actually a lot less experienced than you so I think I'll learn a thing or two from your models ...
8 months agoI make models of a cars that already exist. I can say, after checking your potfolio ( http://www.coroflot.com/dzignstudio), that you are an artist. I'm REALLY impressed!
8 months agoI can't say that you are less experienced when I'm looking at your projects w.wolf. I have a serious lack in drafting, in preparing of technical documentation, projecting according to requirements, etc. I just started my CAD education with surfacing and focus on that.
8 months agoOnly 1 year @ surface modelling Mateusz and your turning out models like that.......
8 months agoYOU set the bar high for us to learn from
Great work all round
:)))))
Well, I think it paid off for you ... would you mind taking a look at something I made and give me your opinion ... over mail?
8 months agoI can't open few projects because I use SWX 2010 but I will be honored to give my opinion about your models :-)
8 months agoI actually have it in SolidWorks 2010 and it isn't uploaded here, would you like me to send you the model?

8 months ago@Mateusz Kliber, how many hours in this project... just wondering...
It is hard to say exactly, it took me more than one week, let say that 9 days, average 4 hours per day. Something about 40 hours.
8 months agoYour hard work pays off. This has to be one of the most popular models for rendering. Thank you again for sharing it with us!
8 months agoStunning render :))))

super great job. Thank you.
6 months agoMateusz, Excellent work! I have to admit that this caught my eye as I was scanning the library for a Panamera model. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of driving a 2012 A7 (to the MAX!) from Thurs afternoon until Saturday afternoon :-0 It was really awesome to look at as well as to "test" drive. Suffice to say that I backed-off of the throttle at 122 mph (only because I was "in town") but she reached this speed very quickly and as though she had much more to give. A very exciting vehicle and a very nicely done model...KUDOS!!!
6 months agoRD
Lost for words. awesome work.

5 months agoVocê mora em Niterói? Gostaria de entrar em contato contigo para tirar dúvidas sobre o Catia; principlamente em relação ao mercado de trabalho!
Really helpfull ... But I am looking for Catia and Solidworks model ... If you can provide ...
5 months agoI have got in my grabcad collection one CATIA model - CATIA v5: Audi R8 body
5 months agoand one SWX model - Audi TT SolidWorks Tutorial
Wow, a few hundred downloads in a few days! Will this become the new top model?? ;-)
5 months agoRobert, I hope so, but the competition is tight! :)
5 months agonice :)
5 months agowhere do you get all the dimensions from to make this?
4 months agoI used the blueprints images which contains height, length, width.
4 months agoit's awesome model
4 months agoAbsolutely beautiful. Gotta also give credit to the Audi engineers for creating this design. ;)
4 months agoI didn't mention about Audi engineers because I thought that's clear that I'm not author of this design.
4 months agoHey Mateusz, Yes, you were pretty clear by simply referring to your work as being a "model" vs. a "design". I wouldn't take Chris' comment in the wrong sense; I think he was just giving a well-deserved "shout-out" to the guys (and gals ;-) who's combined talents are responsible for creating a work of art so worthy of being modeled, in effigy, by someone with your talent! Keep up the great work...we all appreciate it! Take Care-RD
4 months agoI don't know if you saw my comments awhile back, RE: my fortuitous test-drive of the A7. I took my car to the dealership for service and they had an A7 on the lot. I commented on the absolute stunning form of the vehicle and my sales consultant tossed me the keys and said, "Take her home for the weekend and see what you think..." All I can say is WOW!!! As fate/luck would have it, I noticed just last week that my neighbor, three doors down the street, bought the very car that I test drove. Although I don't have the pleasure of owning her, at least I get to smile and wave at her on a daily basis as I pass by :-).
4 months agoI saw it Richard. You were lucky. But you know, I live in Poland,I guess that in your country Audi A7 is a car for a middle class/executives, in Poland, A7 is a car for elites. I even couldn't have it for a test drive, like you. They would have nice ROTFL in Audi dealer, if I (a student) would walk in and ask: "Can I test this A7 in this weekend?" :-). I would be extremally happy, if could have a new A3. Welcome to 2nd World :-).
4 months agoBy the way, Richard reflected my sentiments accurately. It would be a shame if the guys at Audi didnt come up with this car in the first place.
4 months agoWoow! you are awesome!! great skill~~
4 months agoperfect,super!!!thanks.
4 months agonice!
3 months agoGreat job.

2 months agoDoes Quattro have any specific design elements to differentiate it from non Quattro models?
2 months agoHi Lauri The only visual differences are the 'quattro' badges on the front grille and also the suspension system I am sure and a few other very small details!!!
2 months agoGOOD JOB
