Nice model Tony. One thing you don't see on most of these taps, but is a real nice feature. Is either an extended rear so it can chucked into a mill, or drill press, or just an extension of the rear with a center hole, with a shaft in that, which can be chucked in a mill, drill press, or lathe, so it can slide back an fourth on the shaft. Most holes are only tapped 1" or less.

Hi Rich, a very valid point you have here, so, I am just about to upload a revised model which has an extended rear body (+25mm) and center added.
can you please take a look and let me know your thoughts. :-)

I'll try and keep an eye out for it.

Something I have never seen done yet, but is simular to your tap holder tool, is a tool to screw in EZ-LOC hardened steel inserts.

They have 3D models of their inserts now. Maybe just an insert tool that goes in the tap tool to center it.
