Cola light idee from vidstig

I took help of some other models for helping in the design of my idee. Here is the links for them.
Roof: 2.67″ x 7/8″ Corrugated Panels
Cola 2L: 2l cola bottle
Solarpanel: solarpanel

As someone said in a comment, we have a uniq chanes here to help alot of pepole so I encourages comments and discuss to make the best of the solution of this problem.

My idee is based on not having a "wave form" plate that sits on the roof as someone said "you dont have a standard "wave" on the shape of the roof". So my ide just sits in a hole as you can se from the pic. Only need some sealant around the edges.
Another idee is the "cap in the cap" as you can see from pic "coleled_third_vid". The green one is the light that goes in the cola bottel, then this is screwed into the red holder on the roof.

Why I have this, is that you can change bottle if needed and you dont need to go outside on the roof, all can be done from the inside. A spin off on this is having like a lightbolt fixture between green light cap and the red model. Just to fix the connention between the led and batteries.
The rubber wire is just for representative reasons, idee is to have the wire from the batteries in the red model and in one of the legs that holds the cola bottle.
The position of the batteries is something I also hade thoughts on. Insted of having the stright down. Having the position vertically minimzes the risk of the falling down.
One more idee is to have some more reflective materials on the saft that goes down the bottle itself. This may allow more light to bounce of the saft instead of being consumed by it.

So please comment and discuss about it.
Any questions about the idee or if something is not clear, just leave a comment or so I will happy answer.
Peace out

    @naveen thontepu
First, thank you. And yes this design has a lot of faults in that seens. It is not optimized in any way. I can try to explan some of the thought procces around this idee when I had it.

The cap in cap wroks in the same way as a lightbolt fixture. Imagien that you have a light bolt socket on the roof then you have a lightbolt (with no glass just the fixture at the bottom) screwed into that and then you have a smaller lightbolt into that.
So when installing it, you just need to screw the green cap onto the bottle and then screw that into the red mounting on the roof.
If you need to remove the bottle, just unscrew it from the red model and if the green saft is still in the red mount, you just need to unscrew that.
Ofcourse you need some rubber list or something to waterproof the bottle to the red model. Also between the red model and the roof itself.

If you look at a normal cap to a soda bottle, if you open that and reseal it, is it waterproof? Same thing chould be applied here right?

What do you mean by the 2 paragraf?

Yeah, as I said here, this is not optimized in any way. If it comes to manufacturing of this model, you whould need to break it down into smaller part that you can easaily produced.
But ether way you need some sort of sponsoring, for make any design just in 3D printing is a bit more expensive that making it with injections modling or similar.... or am I wrong?

But thanks for the input, "the best idees is forged in the fires or criticism". So keep em coming.

the roof parts that come out of the wall on to the roads or the roof parts that are hanging for shade can be cut and used.
and for the rubber waterproofing of the bottle again u are just adding more cost to the product rather than decreasing the cost.
i think this product should be as cheap as possible as the people themselves have to be sustainable and could afford to buy the product without sponsoring and as designers we need to think about minimizing the cost as much as possible.

    I see what you mean.
Yeah, but what are they useing now for waterproofing? What is cheaper in the long run?
Just cuting a part from a unused part of the roof to cover the hole they make with the bottle doesn't really seal it that well, they still use some sort of sealent inbetween. But what does that cost?

The absolut cheapes is just to give them the solarpanel to lay on the roof, drop som led down the water bottle and hook up some batteries somewhere. But is that really the challenge here?
We need to come up with something that is cheaper and better then what they already have... am I right? That is the real challenge here..
Dont get me wrong, I understand where you are coming from and I appreciate all the input. This is how we can come up with the best solution to the problem.
