Column_of_the_infinite

The Sculptural Ensemble of Constantin Brâncuşi at Târgu Jiu is a homage to the Romanian heroes of the First World War. The ensemble comprises three sculptures: the Table of Silence, the Gate of the Kiss and the Column of the Infinite, on an axis 1,300 m (4,250 ft) long, oriented west to east. The Ensemble is considered to be one of the great works of 20th century outdoor sculpture.

Being proud to be a romanian and of romanian great art, I decided to create the Column_of_the_Infinite in miniature, with total respect to the measurements of the real column , which sits in Targu Jiu city.

The miniature column was decreased by 120 times, and consists of one base semi-element, 15 octahedral modules, and one top semi-element, all made of brass.

The functionality of my design is inside the ambiental space, being a ornament with good ergonomics and marketability.

Great work Diana....my best regards Diana for being one of the few to remember that romanian culture still exists in our country and in the entire Earth...let's remember averyone that the Eiffel Tower was built with a technology invented by engineer Gheorghe Panculescu from Romania and steel structures made in in Resita, Romania. Respect.

Thank you Claudiu! Indeed Romania has a great history, in all forms of art.
