This model was inspired by a bike that I have wanted to build for the past year or so. Using Terry's motor for the heart, I pieced together a standard/naked bike that draws a lot from sportbikes. The idea is for some old school American muscle with the latest-and-greatest updates. I really tried to replicate the look of the PVM Buell X1--which I included a picture of in the Zip Folder--without totally copying it altogether.
Starting with the most 'patriotic' engine, the 1000+ cc V-twin, I chose a compact frame with a steep rake for adept steering. I only provided three mounting points for the motor to make it easier to install, but a top cross beam and mount would be easy to add.
The front end is something straight off of a supersport to make sure the bike is agile. Forks are upside down USD and radial brakes with 6 piston calipers, the largest available. Front rotors are drilled till they resemble swiss cheese, giving it a classic speedmetal vibe. Both wheels are a forged design to lower weight, but 10 spokes resemble spoked wheels so they don't look too showy.
Rear shock has been optimized by going with a single shock design and setting it at an angle to eliminate the need for a rocker and increase responsiveness/reduce part count.
IT WAS HUGE, BUT, NOW INCLUDES STEP FILE

nice job well done
Tell me... if you'e posting an image of Vyrus from Motorvalley (Emilia, Italy), you must be a fan of well designed engines. Why da f....k you had used a big, fatty, slow, V-Twin?
Why you are so american?
Peace, Richard.
