This skid mounted unit is an 'in-line' standardiser. Normally a dairy manufacturer would adjust the % fat or milk solids for a complete silo/tank (can be 100,000 litres plus) of dairy product before processing (batch process). This unit does this process in-line with the input streams metered and mixed instantly. You can standardise as much or as little as needed, just dial in the fat% and solids% (solids not fat) required, connect the inputs (cream, skim, skim concentrate, milk, reclaim, washings, rework, water etc) and the required product is produced instantly for further processing (good example of 'lean' manufacturing applied to traditional batch processing).
