This is a model of a mostly complete resin impregnator for creating prepreg fabrics on the fly as a hobbyist. The bought parts are from McMaster and WM Berg. The rough frame parts can be plasma cut and welded. I am in the process of building mine. I wanted to buy an impregnator, but the things cost way too much money. I have uploaded the made plastic parts in the shaft tensioner assembly to Shapeways and I will provide links once I get mine and make sure everything works as planned.

The rollers are placeholders, but I plan on using PVC tube covered with Teflon heat shrink. The models for the rollers in the CAD file are just dummies. When I complete, build, test and iterate on the design I will update it.

Feel free to make one from the models if you'd like and as always I am interested in getting some feedback.

I am tweaking the design and will post it shortly. It is pretty crude since I am only making it good enough to biuld in my shopand 3D print.. Thanks yousef!
