Frame from Ducati Monster 1990-2000 models. I've actually placed a 94 model V.I.N on this frame. has mounting points for suspension linkages, seat etc. +/- 1mm accurate! Enjoy. Will reload my engine model as I've learned through making this that the mounting point was out by about half a mm! Have adjusted engine to fit properly.

Hey Cameron, looking for some advice on frame modelling. I need to model a McIntosh frame. Not sure how familiar you are with them but they were a well used frame on the Mcintosh suzuki in the 80's. Anyway, it needs to be possible to be able to change the frame geometry fairly easily in the model. Do you reccommend doing this as an assembly or a part file? what would be the advantages/disadvantages of using structural members as opposed to sweeps as you have done in your model here?

G'day Joel, Yeah I am familiar with the McIntosh frames. Unfortunately the only way I could think of doing it would be as a part with lots of extruded 3d sketches. Which doesn't really help with changing geometry easily!. Sorry mate.

You could always make it with configuartions! or design table!
