Terry I would love to but next to you guys I am @ the start of my abilities :/
hopefully in a years time when I get my modelling skills up a little better than what they are, I will be do so.
Well I guess you are right Scott as it would give me a chance to work on my modelling skills. Thank you for the little push and support if anything it will be experience for me, cheers m8 //Handshake. Well I better stop working on my little model right now and get pencil and paper out and start sketching.
I think you did a good job on your engine, and I think you would do well at this also. I think you should try it...do something simple (after all it is for fun). Down load the bike that Danny uploaded and use it for lines and for the mounting positions and just see what you can come up with. We will help you, that's the only way to learn jump in with both feet!
Thank you Terry for the support also, I shall download the bike that Danny uploaded and work from that. Thanks for the guidance, well that is the two feet in now Terry. Have a nice night guys I am off do do some sketching.
Well ! Great to read that Scott and William are in the place !!
If we can see more and more upcoming fenders I'm sure it will motivate others...
William, contest like this one is a great place to free your mind and do what you want to do and not your everyday work... it's a good exercise to evolve fast, unlock you potential and have some tips from great guys like Terry, Scott or anyone else here in grabcad...
Go for it and don't by shy to experience thing you've never try on your CAD modelling.
Starting with a simple sheet of paper and a pencil is a really good point (personally that's what I've done).
I've uploaded a simple PDF with the basics views (front, right, left, top + 2 ISO views), print it and sketch ! When your sketch looks good to you then you could go to CAD ;)
That rear fender makes the bike look mean Benjamin!
Can't wait for the rest of it.
@ William, just adding to what the other guys have said, there's nothing like an open challenge to get your creative juices going with a deadline and an incentive, it's like a design training program to get you ready for the real world, good luck!
Hi guys thank for the support, well that is the sketches done just need to eliminate them now for what I think is my best design. Can any of you guys tell me when the deadline is for this competition so I know how long I have to get my model uploaded, Thanks again guys and to all in GrabCAD officially the best web site on the net. :)
Is this street legal? It has no head light or stop light, don't get me wrong it's a great little electric bike but it seem it missing something. Of course I really don't know very much about electric bikes running on the streets of what they are to have or not. But it could be another op for all of us to design and trick out or customize the EXOBike design contest. Just an idea.......
Very cool. I love the render.
10 months agoThanks Scott !
10 months agoKeyshot render (about 1min time) using a diffuse material pure white... It's a classic render but it always makes it ;)
Nice work :)
