This is one of the models i have in mind for Christmas globes (after all, the winter is not so far away). This one have an external diameter of 10 cm (~4"). Why 4 clamps? Two reasons: you can make a nice garland from globes of various colors, and if one of them breaks, you can still hang the globe in the tree with the others...
