Medina umbrella project

This is one of the first projects I have ever worked on. I was a part of a team of five engineers that designed this automatised umbrella manufactured by Liebherr for a customer from Saudi Arabia. The CAD files are still classified, so all I can share here is some photos of the finished project. The umbrellas are 26m tall and have a 26m span. They are fully automatic so they open and close at will. I believe in total 250 pieces we're manufactured.
