In Solidworks you can simply hide the energy beams from the engines.
Thanks guys, well it was only a project for fun... it's fiction so (for me) it has not have to be a feasible design... but I understand what you mean.
Nice one Robert - you could keep this concept for the year 2500 and maybe put it into production LoL'ss
