I got bored tonight and picked up a DVD cover whilst my fiance' was watching fringe and modeled a stargate from the television series.
using pictures on sketch planes made it a quick 10 minute bit of modeling.
I admit its not an impressive model but it was just for a bit of fun so have a look if your into stargate haha (my fiance' isnt) :p
By the way i assembled it so you can technically "dial the gate" if you know how to animate dynamics with maya..i personally havent done much dynamics in maya but this looks like a good place to start trying :p
