This is my try on making the Vb version of the famous WW2 airplane.
I know that the model is not accurate as it could have been, nor as detailed, when regarding all pictures that can be found with one single throw at google.
I had my share of fun for about 20+ hours... but I hope you folks will have a nice use for a model like this!
:Revision: With the second version available (SSpitfireMkVbCamoReady.zip) I have tried to make the model more keyshot-friendly, especially for those who want to stick a nice camo on the fuselage.
Another .STEP version has been added, since the other .STEP version had a hole in its wing. Since that doesn't improve flight characteristics, let alone its rendergeniousity, I have fixed it. Thanks to Darren Simpson for pointing the problem out to me!
If some parts seem to be missing, or if the model somehow seems to be broken: please document your findings below!
Comments:
ps if you have a look at the left wing flaps the model didn't seem to get the surfaces ?
I think I have found out why the model has a hole in the wing: I exported it as .STEP using SolidWorks, and exporting is not SolidWorks' strongsuit. I will see if I can do a better job with another program...
Hey thanks Flaviano! Great renders illustrating the now closed model, thanks!
