This is a model of a high bypass turbofan jet engine, loosely based on the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 Turbofan in use on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The model was based heavily on a similar model by Chris Shakal, so full credit there, however this model was built in Solidworks 2011 and has some minor changes made to it.
