This Beautiful Lamp Shade was created in 4 stages:
Stage 1: Create Sea-Stars ball using Topmod.
Stage 2: With Meshlab define borders.
Stage 3: With Meshlab create Voronoi surface.
Stage 4: Make the model Organic, smooth and ready for 3D printing.
On top there is a base for attaching a bulb fixture - with a cut hole of 30mm. (increase it as needed)
Use ABS or PLA (depends on your Bulb/LED Watts)
I recommend White strong Nylon with these high quality 3d printing services:
For USA: ponoko.com
For Europe: i.materialise.com
I dont recommend Shapeways - in my experience they produce low quality prints.

so thanks! do u have any tutorial to show how can design it?
''I dont recommend Shapeways - in my experience they produce low quality prints.'' I agree, in plastics they produce low quality prints, although I recommend Shapeways to print your product in silver/ glossy silver, they are doing just fine.
Does some1 know another site like shapeways and iMaterialise to print metals with?
Just wait few days to see your printed "Silver" tarnish .. unlike any other consumer Silver on jewelry stores... As for printing with metal you have also Ponoko.com
