A lot of surface modelling went into this. Open the SolidWorks file and take a look at the process.

did you use a scan of a last to make this? I've been looking everywhere for a 3d scanned shoe last, and I can't seem to find one.
No Natalie, I didn't use a last but modeled the actual shoe. If you have a shoe last it should be fairly easy to make a 3d model using surfacing tools
