  Sometimes I try to open STEP or IGES files in Pro/E and can't see them. Pro/E refuses to show file names with spaces in them. Rename the file and replace spaces with '_'s or just delete them, then Pro/E will let you see them in 'file open' dialogs. Not sure if they fixed this in Creo though.

  first simply open a new part file as you do and after that click "insert" option there is a option on second last " shared data " then " from file" that all. hope you get it

     in iges and step file we can't see the steps used in its making. we had to measure the dimensions of that part and make it again

     after opening save the iges as .prt file and then open tht prt file in drawing mode tro measure the dimensions :)
