  Hi Manolis did you ground the fly wheel and drive that constraint?

     Hmmm I will try and have a little look tomorrow in class Manolis if I get spare time and maybe see what the problem is....

     No the only grounded part is the wooden base. The flywheel is constrained to the base and to the main shaft. I tried driving the cam wheel's angle constraint but the other parts rotate in the other direction and in different ratio.

  I haven't had a chance to look at the model in detail, but from looking at the images...
  Check your degrees of freedom, to make sure that the moving pats are free to move in the required directions only. Then place an angular constraint between a work plane passing through the crank shaft center and the frame. Driving that constraint should allow it to move.
