can anybody give me one example of how to merge two walls in creo parametric?

hello everybody...I need some help to understand how to merge walls in creo parametric...my problem is that when I try to merge them and try to define the merge geoms...it says that the geometry that I select is innapropriate.....can anybody give me one example to understand well...how to merge walls...?

    Follow the steps below if it is a sheetmetal part.

    1. Step 1

      Create the walls as seperate features

      Medium

    2. Step 2

      Click Join under the editing group

      Medium

    3. Step 3

      Select the 2 surfaces that you want to join/merge. You can click on the arrows to flip the direction of the walls that you want to keep. Complete the feature
