Does anyone know how to convert Solidwork part into Autocad format? or if there is any other format Autocad can import files? Does STEP or IGES works?

Benjamin, have a look at Autodesk Inventor Fusion (free preview edition). It will open SolidWorks files and then you can save them as .dwg. I had just now tried it and it worked very nicely.

You can export a dxf or dwg of 2D views from SW model to ACAD

If you create a SW drawing of the model you can save as dxf or dwg with as many views as needed

I have tested this software (PolyTrans) that allows the conversion of various CAD formats.

Is a lightweight software but you must have certain domain on it to not lose the details of the original design.

However, is a quick and inexpensive option.

To import a SolidWorks file

1. Click Insert tab - Import panel - Import.
2. In the Import File dialog box, in the Files of type box, select the file type corresponding to the SolidWorks file you want to import (*.prt, *.sldprt, *.asm, *.sldasm).
NoteSolidWorks, NX, and Pro/ENGINEER files share the same file extension (*.prt, *.asm). Hence make sure that you select the correct file type.
3. Find and select the file you want to import, or enter the name of the file at File Name.
4. Click Open.
Import is performed as a background process. A notification bubble is displayed when the command is done.
Click the file name in the notification bubble. The imported file is inserted in the current drawing.
Tip If you accidentally close the notification bubble, right-click the import icon on the status bar, and click Insert. The imported file is inserted in the current drawing.
5. Click OK.
