Feature request - model groupings
It would be nice to have some way of identifying a set of models we have uploaded as belonging to the same family of parts. As an example, for the past few days I've been modeling all the different parts of the GoPro camera mounts and brackets that I have access to. I plan to model all of them as well as the camera and its housing; I would like to be able to group them all or indicate in some way that all these parts work with each other. The system is modular in nature, so making an assembly and zipping all the relevant files is one way of doing it, but it just doesn't seem that elegant to me. I'd rather give people the option about what components they wish to download from the set.

Why don't you just tag it with the right words indicating what you want? Then when people presss the tag all models of this group will apear.
I agree with you James.. there is lots of parts that by them selves are useless but if we knew they were part of some assembly that would help a lot..
Yeah this is a good idea.. You can make sets for related models or models that have the same theme. When people go to your page they can sort by set and choose to see all your; requested files or all your makerbot submissions or your angry bird collection!
