How can I convert an assembly in SolidWork to a part or solid?
I need to work with an assembly in Solid Works but when I open the Solidworks become so slow because it need to open many parts .... so, the idea is to convert the assembly to a part to work better and fast.
¿Can I convert an assembly to a part, solid ... etc?

Sudhir Gill about 1 year agoOpen Assembly file. Click file >> save as >> and change file type to SolidWorks part file.

Hans de Ridder about 1 year agoConvert the assembly to a lightweight assembly. This is perfectly described in the solidworks help function.
