how can i design a tire in catia?
what are the most commonly features use to model a real tire in catia?

All kind of tires you can model like this....
1º sketch the section of the tire and in the same drawing put the line axis to made a revolution before
2º Made a revolution with the sketch (because in the sketch we draw the centre line of the revolution.. catia take this line on default axis.
3º you can made other different drawings on the surface to simulate the holes or footprint
4º you can do other revolutions or grooves to made others surfaces in order to paint with other colours the tire surface
