  Here is the tutorial.

  1. Step 1

     Start SolidWorks.

     

  2. Step 2

     Click File Menu and choose Open.

     

  3. Step 3

     Change file of type to Step AP203/214.

     

  4. Step 4

     Now browse to location where the step file is. In mine case it is on desktop.

     

  5. Step 5

     Double click the file and it is opened. An import Diagnostics dialogue is displayed. You can click no for now.

     

  6. Step 6

     Now the part is opened.

  not working, still asking me for some default template, that are already set. Confused.
