How do I make a sphere two different colors?
Say I create a sphere. How can I have the top 2/3 of the sphere be red and the bottom 1/3 be blue? I tried using the split tool and then changing the color of the split, but the whole thing changes.

Cheng.Li about 1 year agoIn CATIA it‘s easy ..1.create a sphere ,2 split the sphere use keep both side setting .3. setting the property separately.....
I think other software should have the same tool or function.

Greg Pavlik about 1 year agoI would probably just use two different parts. That is one part to make 2/3 of a sphere and a second feature to make the other 1/3 of a sphere. Then you can set the properties of the diferent features seperatetly.
