How to extrude cut a specific feature
Ok quick question for you guys. How can I extrude cut or do a cut with a surface a specific feature. If you take a look at the picture below. I have the extrusion of the round piston and that is cut a specific way. Now I have an extrusion inside the walls of the piston and that is cut the same way but at an offset from the piston.

Rohit Mitra 9 months agoYou need to uncheck the merge result option from your features so that you have multiple bodies. Then when you create the cut you'll have an option called feature scope to select which body to apply your cut to.

I managed to figure it out. You see the round wall around the piston I wanted to cut the inside pattern below that wall just cut extruted star feature like Rohit Mitra explained
