How to model a human body

Hello there,

I am busy designing the mechanics of a baby robot, which will have an outer skin of sillicon. To get the right shape for the inner parts I need to convert an .OBJ mesh (from a 3d scan) to solidworks features.

As can be seen in the added screenshot I have managed to load the .obj file into a part, and started to "copy" it with the boundary surface feature (since lofted surface didn't took me anywhere). Initially i want to make only one surface side of the body and later mirror it.

My problem is the transition from the leg to the hull of the baby. Since the sketch that defines the legs are a closed loop and the sketch that defines the hull an open loop..

Can somebody give me the answer to this problem?
I would be verry happy.

Jonathan

You just take from add on library in solid works application.
