How to split a face for SimulationExpress Analysis
I have the profile of an airfoil I extruded and now I am trying to analyze forces on it. However the extrusion resulted in one face for the entire airfoil profile but I need to analyze forces on only one side of the airfoil (this is a keel for a sailboat). Any recommendations?

draw a sketch on the plane you want to split. then go to Insert => Curve and choose Split Line.
Then project the line on the face, select both and your face is splitted so you can put the forces where you want.
There is an option for symmetrical view in the toolbar. But for that you have two draw 2 points on the model if it has more than one symmetrical view. By pressing that button, they automatically recognizes it highlights the other half.
