     Autodesk also offers free software to students here (with some restrictions):

  Request a free license of SolidEdge ST4. Basically it's a full version but the file saved will be opened in Student version only. Also you will not be asked to submit your student id. You just request them and they will email you the License.
  Student License is best for learning purpose.
