i am a student at college i am only 17 and i was wondering is there anywhere i can download solidowrks for free without paying the stupid amount off money?
Go to the link
go here and copy the link according to your system (x32 or x64) and copy the link , then paste in IDM( if you are using ,if not it will take lot of time to download. so better download a trial only.
i already told copy the link and paste in idm then only it will work.
I successfully downloaded the six parts and used the ISO to create a CD image. I can't find the install file or get it to auto start. How do I install it after I have the files from the internet?
there is folder named as LZ0, open that and read the install.txt file and follow the instructions and you are done.
It was not easy or strait forward but I finally got it installed and it is working. However it is only saying it is good for 30 days. Any ideas on that? I think I did everything correctly.
sorry for being "Acronymous-ignoramous", but what does IDM stand for? Internet Download Manager??? Is that like Bit Torrent? how embarressing!
I hate acronyms!!! FMA...
I could use some more help on the activation part. I have not had any luck with Google.
You can download the student design kit, which is essentially a 60 day trial http://www.solidworks.com/sw/education/11632_ENU_HTML.htm
or you can buy the student edition for $99
