  Inventor (supported formats may vary depending the version):
  Native Formats: ipt, iam, idw, ipn for part, assembly, drawing, presentation respectivelly.
  Supported formats (import) step, iges, solidworks, catia, sat, dwg, parasolid, pro/e, xt, .wire(alias), 3ds, jt, nx, .3dm up to version 4.0,
  Supported formats (export): dwg, Catia V5, igs, jt, parasolid, Pro/Engineer granite (.g), Pro/Enginner neutral (.neu), Sat, step, stl, xgl,zgl,pdf,bmp,jpeg

  Autocad 2012 (and other versions like mechanical, electrical, civil)
  Native Format: dwg
  Supported formats (import):NX, Parasolid, Pro Engineer, Rhino, Solidworks, sat, wmf, dgn, 3ds, iges, step, dxf
  Export:dxf,stp,bmp,pdf,jpeg

  Inventor Fusion can import/edit all the files Inventor can. Native file format is DWG
