  part 10

  1. Step 1

     open a sketch on the front plane and draw a centerline

     

  2. Step 2

     start the drawing

     

  3. Step 3

     continue

     

  4. Step 4

     make your sketch finally like this

     use revolve command

     

  6. Step 6

     use fillet command

     

  7. Step 7

     referance geometry-- plane . select the front plane and enter the distance

     

  8. Step 8

     open a sketch on the new plane

     

  9. Step 9

     draw a rectangle

     

  10. Step 10

      continue..

      

  11. Step 11

      use trim command

      

  12. Step 12

      use extrude command. select up to surface option and select the pink surface. confirm that

      

  13. Step 13

      use mirror command. select mirror plane (front plane) and features to mirror( boss extrude 1)

      

  14. Step 14

      open a sketch on this surface

      

  15. Step 15

      draw a circle

      

  16. Step 16

      use cut-extrude command. tick the ''flip side to cut'' box

      

  17. Step 17

      save the part 10

      

  18. Step 18

     for part 11, the end which is furthest from tip of the pencil, there seems to be (in later tutorials) two edges which come from the outside towards the center axis of the pencil. I cannot find any reference to these in tutorials 16 or 17. Can you please tell me where to find the steps to model these edges for part 11.

  I modeled everything in CATIA V5 R18, so far everything ok! I await the completion ... thanks for providing constructive moments to minds that do not stand still ...
