  Sometimes we have lot of files created because of simulation results, temporary files etc. We need to collect all the part and assembly in one place. Then pack & go feature is helpful. With the help of this feature we can create the zip file of all the design files or copy them to separate place

  1. Step 1

     I have plummer block assembly and as we can see there is lot of mess created. I will search down the assembly file.

     

  2. Step 2

     Right click the assembly file then SolidWorks>>Pack & Go.

     

  3. Step 3

     Click the save to zip file and simply click save.

     

  4. Step 4

     We have the assembly zip file created.

     

  5. Step 5

     And as we can see there are necessary files for the assembly in zip file.
