Tutorial - Rib feature in SolidWorks?

  Here is the tutorial.

  1. Step 1

     Start Solidworks in Part Mode.

     

  2. Step 2

     Front Plane>>Sketch.

     

  3. Step 3

     Make a profile like this.

     

  4. Step 4

     Extrude it by 40mm.

     

  5. Step 5

     Under Features tab choose reference geometry>>plane.

     

  6. Step 6

     Choose the face1 and distance be 20mm.

     

  7. Step 7

     Choose Plane1>>Sketch.

     

  8. Step 8

     Choose Line tool.

     

  9. Step 9

     Standard Views>Normal to.

     

  10. Step 10

      Make a line coincident with both the corners.

      

  11. Step 11

      Insert>>Features>>Rib.

      

  12. Step 12

      Isometric View.

      

  13. Step 13

      Keep the default settings and click OK. Now the rib feature has been created.
