Bricscad Platinum provides the ability to edit non-parametric geometry without the need to understand the design history of the geometry. This allows to preserve the correct relationships between selected geometry (e.g., tangency, concentricity, ...) and makes the editing process less time and labor intensive. Design Intent option can be switched on/off and also different recognition options combined at your choice.

    1. Step 1

In this tutorial I will show you how Coincident planes option is working. At first I'm drawing a simple model, activating Drawing Intent toolbar and switching 'off' all toggles.

    2. Step 2

After moving cursor on any face and selecting Push/Pull option.

    3. Step 3

I pushed selected face by 2 units.

    4. Step 4

Then switching 'on' Coincident planes toggle, activating another face and choosing Push/Pull option.

    5. Step 5

As you can see, both coincident faces were activated automatically. I entered the same value of 2 units to push.

    6. Step 6

As the result of last choice, both two coincident faces were pushed. And now select the first one.

    7. Step 7

As you remember, at first time I also asked to push by 2 units and finally all 3 faces were recognized as coincident planes again!
