What is the way to open the Pro Engineer Student Edition File in Pro Engineer?
I have some files, it says these files are made in student version and can't be opened. Is there any way to open these files except using different CAD software like SolidWorks?

Your best bet would be to reopen them in a student ProE version save them in IGES or STEP file. Otherwise I'm not certain but it don't think you can reopen those files in a standard CAD software.

you will have to use GRANITE KERNEL of PTC (the company whose product is proe) for that purpose.
it can also load files of older version & save them in any version.
but it is way too costly than proe!
You ll need EDU-COM convert license to open it, just the way it is.
