Thousands of tutorials to learn from
I have noticed that screen captures in SolidWorks, say for tutorials as an example, that the the left side of the screen, in particular, half of the Feature manager, seems to get cut off. This makes it difficult to sometimes get complete understanding from some of the Excellent tutorials the users are posting
OK lets try it screen capture has all of Feature Manager. Lets see what tutorial shows
I have noticed that if you click on the tutorial screen the the full image pops up, but for tutorials it would be better if one did not have to do that.
Now look at image and look at tutorial. BOTH sides of tutorial are cut off.
Both image and tutorial are the same jpg files!
Yea it re-sizes images, you have to click on them to get the full picture...
If you use Windows 7 or vista, try snipping tool (under accessories).
Well, I didn't know that he meant that the screen capture gets cut off on the grabcad site....
I use an external capture application where you can select the area you want to capture, it can be the active window, workspace, full screen or selection area. Then I simply create a new image from clipboard as SW is not the only application I use for work. For example, IrfanView (freeware) can be very useful, it can make a new image from images captured on your screen and gives a very good control on image size, resolution, etc. Useful in many ways.
