Why is thickness not updating in a Sheet Metal reducer part?

By Hardi Meybaum on 28 Sep 20:55 2 answers 726 views 3 comments

I have this part from 2009 which is a concentric reducer(same problem with another eccentric reducer). When SW 2011 was implemented, the thickness in the design table no longer updates the model. I'll have to manually go to the model and edit the feature. I have attached the part if anyone has any idea on how to fix this problem.

Trying to help out John Wang.

I'm not sure if this is the "correct" answer, but I got it to work by adding Thickness@Sheet-Metal1 to the table and changing it along with PL Thick.@Lofted Bends1. See screen caps.

    1. Step 1

Add Thickness@Sheet-Metal1 to table. It's the last one in the list.

    2. Step 2

Edit in table. Not sure if it's necessary to use the PL Thick.@Lofted Bends1 or not, but it works if you change them both.
