I am relatively new to CAD world, as I have been learning the SolidWorks since 2008. I got the CSWA certificate and am preparing for CSWP as a natural follow-up. Besides the Solidworks I am learning both SolidEdge and AutoCAD Inventor, but so far feel most comfortable in the SW. A CAD program, like SW, is mostly a recreation for me - drawing some fun stuff. So far it has been so, more joy, less work. Mostly I draw weapons and their accessories - these are in some sense complex, yet so simple in other, but interesting devices none the less. Since my involvement with these is not only through computer screen, those experiences do help modelling these things. I give my best to draw any piece like it would or should be made - that is, think like the designing engineer and maker of it at the same time. I also give some lectures in the University of Tartu, mainly on the topics of military and space technology. So in some sense I am a hybrid of both worlds - culture and technology, and am trying to bring these two together.
