i need a designer to help me make a 3d model for a new face mask idea for commuters. the model should be ready for 3d prototyping and mold making at the end of the project. i only have edrawings viewer, so we'll have to use a suitable format i can see. the attached pic is an early version of what i want to do.
the target market is developing countries in asia
major design features:
- low initial mask and replacement filter media cost
- 100% seal around nose, mouth and filter media
- use exiting filter media (n95, n99, etc.) off the shelf and/or user can make their own filters
- low profile to fit open and/or full face helmet
- decorative covering to hide the function
- easy exhaust
- large filter area for easy inhaling
- comfortable to wear for several hours/day while commuting

the new mask will use standard filters already available or can be made by the user; several other features will be unique to the design and patentable. it will be the lowest profile possible for use with bicycle/moto helmets.

I really don't see the point in these. What are the benefits>?

benefit #1= filter polluted air

lol obviously get that, although it seems like a waste of time. do they actually work? n tbh i wouldn't fancy wearing one of these 24/7.

we are lucky to live in the 1st world where the air is relatively clean; it's meant for commuters riding bikes and not for 24/7 use.

thanks eric, i check the rzmask, which looks identical to the respro mask from the UK; i tested the respro and it was not comfortable due to pressure on the bridge of the nose; it was difficult to breathe through at higher breathing rates; also not affordable for low income commuters in developing countries
