Left Uni in '94, spent a year or so doing temp. work then joined Leyland Trucks. I spent about 7 years there working on commercial vehicle design (DAF LF as well as concept work for Peterbilt and Kenworth) in both design and FEA roles. In 2003 I took a sideways step into an IT role for about 4 years when the commercial vehicle market took a nose dive (Mainly UNIX and network admin - I think i've forgot it all now!) Then since 2007 I've been working within the gas/oil offshore industry for a couple of companies that supply pipe protection equipment, PU products and buoyancy products.
