Designed custom gearbox to replace bulky ATV gearbox, chain drive and lawn tractor differential with one lightweight gearbox. I had no previous experience in this field, but did have a drive and ability to research independently. Collaborated with experienced engineers on best solution after research. Designed CAD model, performed FEA and established machining plan.
