o Developed and altered 3D models of the floats (Fishing Bobbers) in SolidWorks to improve the design by reducing excessive weight, catering to different customer needs. o Tested the model in ANSYS to determine its fracture point, redesigned and increased the strength by 34%. o Implemented a new design method using Injection Molding by creating two hollow pieces (High Density Poly Ethylene, recyclable) and combining them together to create air inside for floatation and reducing overall weight by 23%. Solved DFM/DFA issues simultaneously. o Reduce storage space consumption by 53% (Hollow pieces fitted into each other). o Created and maintained core quality documentation including DFMEA and DVP&R.
